“Looking after what we’ve got - that’s where Riparian Developments started.”
Cambridge based brothers, Tom and Finn, started Riparian Developments after developing a pond on their family farm to encourage more ducks for duck shooting. They fenced it off, planted trees, and even got support from the local council to help. This not only made the area look better, but it also brought more native trees to the farmland and provided ecological benefits.

Tom Casey
Tom has a lot of experience in a corporate environment as a Project Manager for 15 years. As well as a building apprenticeship which is useful for understanding the scope of work Riparian Development does. He has a great catalogue of skills, an ability and knowledge of machinery, which all benefits the day to day work at Riparian Developments.
Finn Casey
Finn has energy, is passionate and learns quickly. Through his genuine interest in trees and this type of work he will plan, manage and execute projects with an eagerness like it is his own land he’s working on. “It’s rewarding - when you plant out an area, you can see the change instantly. It’s immediately gratifying seeing such a result.”
Since 2021, Riparian Developments has been focusing on turning land into vibrant, native plant-filled spaces.
