These projects showcase how marginal land, residential and commercial spaces can be repurposed into thriving native planting plots, creating long-term ecological benefits and beautifying surroundings.
Native Nursery
At our native nursery, we prioritise growing specimen trees and indigenous forest varieties like Tawa, Kahikatea, Miro, Rewarewa, and TÅtara. These forest natives are known for their slow growth but eventually become large trees that provide a dense canopy overhead. They are perfectly suited to be planted alongside quicker-growing species, common to regenerative mixes. This strategy allows the faster growers to offer a protected space for the slower-growing natives to thrive and establish themselves.
